Ferrari Offers Diamond Studded Car Keys
There is no better way to make a style statement than to do it with diamonds. Have been doing it by embellishing articles of personal use with diamonds. Items like sunglasses, purses, phones, and even their vehicles get enhanced with diamond details. The latest addition to this list is the Ferrari car keys studded with precious metals and gemstones to add to their style statement. The glittering set of keys surely makes a strong style statement. The bespoke Ferrari key has been created by SP Green & Co. and is being offered in several options.
This is the first set of Ferrari Keys that have been enhanced with precious stones. A total of 1160 pieces of a rare variety of diamonds, VVS to flawless variety has been encrusted on the key. The total diamond weight adds up to 7 carat. Customizing the car keys add a new meaning to owning a Ferrari. The options for customization are in the form of use of different precious metals and gemstones. The idea is to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the key and make it more exclusive.
The key can be coated with multiple varieties of gold as per the owner’s choice. The owner can also select the diamonds and other gemstones which are then polished and encrusted on the key. This kind of customization of the car key has been available for other car brands but it is the first instance of such an offer from Ferrari. The designers from the house of Camaél interact directly with the clients to know their interest, taste and needs. We have earlier seen bejeweled car keys being offered by Mercedes Benz which designed Swarovski car keys and Bentley Continental which had made diamond studded car key. The bejeweled car key has been priced at $23,147

Jackson ‘Thriller’ jacket sells for $1.8 million
The jacket has “Love Michael Jackson” written on the sleeve, and a dedication in the lining to his long-time costume designers, to whom he gave it.
The buyer was identified as Milton Verret, a commodities trader from Austin Texas, who plans to have the jacket tour and be displayed at children’s hospitals around the globe to raise money for their children’s charities.
The auctioneer described the jacket as “among the most recognizable and famous garments of the 20th century,” saying it sparked a 1980s fashion craze when it was copied and sold to adoring Jackson fans worldwide.
“The black and red style of the jacket became so identifiable with Jackson’s groundbreaking (video) that he continued to use jackets of the same design when performing the song ‘Thriller’ for the duration of his career,” it said.
The jacket is one of two which Jackson used during the ghoulishly iconic video, the other being on display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

A new cognac created to be sipped specifically on the rocks was launched this week and is described as a flavor journey that will take the drinker through aromas of white peach, lemon sorbet and iced mint as the temperature of the elixir drops.
Ice Cognac by ABK6 is said to develop its distinct aromas as it progressively comes into contact with cold temperatures and water.
The limited edition cognac, produced in the hillsides of Claix, France, made its debut at Vinexpo, the world’s largest wine trade fair, in Bordeaux this week.
At 18 C (64F) for instance, the cognac begins softly and smoothly, giving off aromas of vanilla and evolving into white peach. At 12 C (54F) aromas of orange blossom are detected, before merging into lemon sorbet.
And when the mercury dips to about 5 C (41), the cognac emits notes of iced mint.
The cognac is made from the Ugni blanc grape, the most widely planted white grape in France, and is best served in a tumbler glass over several ice cubes.
The suggested retail price is €37
Superyacht Adastra a 42.5m Power Trimaran
This one-off trimaran designed by John Shuttleworth is being built for Hong Kong clients Anto and Elaine Marden with interstellar voyages in mind.
Adastra’s 16 metre beam creates a spacious saloon area on the main deck which offers superb views through a panoramic window and accommodates a lounge area, dining table, and navigation station.
A forward facing door through the saloon window gives easy access to a large sunbed on the foredeck.
The garage door has been designed to fold out and create a large dive platform. Extra space has been created below deck by slightly flaring the central hull just above the waterline.
This area has been split into two sections with a full-width master cabin located aft with access from the deck saloon, and two further guest cabins, accommodation for the crew, and the galley located forward of the engine compartment.
Adastra offers comfortable accommodation for nine guests and up to six crew members.
The main helm station, which has seating for two, is positioned in a raised pilot house situated between the aft deck and the saloon area and forms part of the cross beam structure.
The Superstructure is carbon fibre with Nomex honeycomb core, the hull is Glass/Kevlar foam sandwich and the interior is light weight oak cabinetry using honeycomb panels
To help reduce weight, virtually every aspect of the boat is custom built. This includes carbon fibre hatches, portlights, ladders and even hinges, which are all built specifically for the vessel.
